ADOPTION!!!

Many of you have so amazingly supported and loved my husband and I through our journey of pregnancy and then tragic loss of our son Titus. For those of you who don’t know we have put our story on MY HUSBANDS BLOG. After much prayer and wise counsel we moved forward with paperwork to adopt. God is so faithful and allowing all of this to happen so much sooner than we anticipated. We just got a call today that we have been matched with a birth mom and we are going to get our son on Monday!!! Such a roller coaster and so much emotion pouring out of us. We are so excited. My husband is the one who writes so eloquently so please go to his blog to read the whole story!!! It begins in March and moves forward from there! With all of this said I will be on a break for a bit adjusting to life with a newborn and enjoying every two am feeding!!!

Ryan and Megan were so relaxed the whole day. I loved the simplistic approach to their wedding. They had beautiful simplistic flowers that added an amazing touch to the ceremony and Megan’s dress was so delicate and beautiful! Then to top it all of they were relaxed and fun loving… what a great day! Check out some highlights from the day:

You saw Marc and Tammy’s maternity photos and now their little GIRL is here!!! Sister Kaylin got her wish in having a baby girl sister around! Oh and Kenzie is soooo precious and sooo tiny!!! I loved holding her just hours after she was born and then when we did photos the other day she was so good… she never cried and was awake the whole time! Here is her debut:

Matt and Adrienne’s Maternity photos

I took a little break from maternity leave and had a blast taking maternity photos of some of our really good friends Matt and Adrienne! They are so cute and they make such cute babies!!! Ryland makes you want to just eat him! Check them out:

This is one of my favorite maternity photos EVER…. isn’t she so amazingly beautiful!

THere were a group of kids playing on this and we asked them if we could take a few pictures really fast. They stood off to the side and then Adrienne lifted her shirt and the little boy covered his eyes and they all ran!!! So funny! Glad their parents didn’t come after us…mommy they are taking pics of her naked over there!!!

Ok seriously is he so cute or what!!

Marc is our Jr. High Pastor at our church and he and his wife Tammy are expecting their second! I am so excited for their little one to come…they do not know what they are having and I am going to have the privilege to capture he/she coming into this world! Tammy is so beautiful and photographed amazing in these:

Tammy’s sister is prego with her and so we had to capture a few of their bellies together!

This is my favorite! I love the sun and their true laughter.

I love the Kaylin’s sweet face in this one, she can’t wait for her “little sister” which is what she believes is in mommies tummy, to come!

Love you guys so much and can’t wait to meet the baby!!!!

Todd and Kara’s engagement!

I had a really fun time with Todd and Kara being my last shoot before maternity leave… and the first wedding when I come off maternity leave. So fun! Todd was not looking forward to having pictures taken of him but he did great and I think we got some really fun and funky shots of them!!! I can’t wait for the wedding guys!!!

I just thought Todd was funny in this photo..he he!

I think this is my favorite… they were not paying attention to me at all and just relaxing and they look so awesome!

Todd and Kara I can’t wait to see you guys in a few months for your beautiful day! thank you for being so willing to be “models”!!

I had the privilege of capturing Rion and Julie’s wedding last fall and now they are expecting a baby girl at the end of March! They already have one sweet girl Taylor that is so excited for her little sister to come into this world! Check out their cute fam and Julie’s awesome belly!

Adam and Cher are some of our great friends from college! In fact it is where we stole our sons name from… Titus, their second son is the first one:) Adam is about to go serve our country for the second round of overseas duty and we wanted to squeeze in some yummy pics of him and the fam! Could they make cuter kids:

In every picture their sweet little girl would say chhhheeeeesssseee…. and make that super cute face… I think she has a camera happy mommma and knew just what to do!

The Simmon Fam

I have had so much fun capturing the Simmon’s and their boys grow!! We just did a full family shoot the other day since K said she has pretty much zero pics of the whole fam so that was super fun! We tried to get a good everyone looking pic for the wall and I think we did pretty good! Of course you get all the fun ones in between as well…check them out:

I love this one… it is so representative of kids:) And what most family photos look like at this age! So cute:)

I love black and whites of little boys… hence the next series:)

This is one of the only ones we got of zack still! He kept running back and forth on this old rickety wheel barrel they are on with M and K cautious on each side as it would tip a litlle with every run! So an 18 month old! He thought he was hilarious!

Oh and he was still while he chewed on the wood with some bird poop on it:) But it was a super cute pic right?!!! Sorry K hope no sickies:

Loran and Sarah get Hitched!

Loran and Sarah had such a wonderful emotion filled sweet wedding! Granted I am pregnant and so I cry alot:) But I really did have major tears watching Loran stare at Sarah as she came down the Isle! They are clearly so in love with eachother and God that it made for a love filled day!

Just to start off on a funny note: here is one of my really good friends Leslie who is 2 days apart from me in due date as we show off our bellies! Leslie referred Sarah to me!

To all you mommas out there you know how off balance you are at this stage of third trimester so thank you to Erin with Erin McFarland Photography for helping me shoot! You are so talented!!! And to Christine:) Thanks girls! I couldn’t have done it with out you!

So we went out to the golf course to take pics and my rebellion kicks in and I ask them to all pile on and drive wildly:) They are headed right toward me here and laughing as they are saying “don’t kill the pregnant lady”!!
